Just about 25 kms from the state capital, one of the best site/spot for spending a holiday with family and friends. Sadu Chiru Waterfall is no doubt the most popular waterfall in Manipur. The waterfall is around 15m high and came cascading down from thick tropical forest. This is famous for its perennial Water Fall in a scenic foot hill.
The Physics & Chemistry: Lets talk a little bit about the physics and chemistry of Sadu Chiru Waterfall. Unlike other waterfall, this waterfall does not develop a deep trench at the foot where the falling water hits the ground thereby the force of pulling gravity is almost absent. Therefore, it is not dangerous to reach till the wall of the falling water. The water level is just knee deep and nothing to worry about sinking in the water.
