The post harvest festival of the Chin-Kuki-Mizos Kut Festival also known as the "Chavang Kut"and Miss Kut 2016 celebrated at 1st Manipur Rifles Compound, Imphal on 1 November 2016 organised by The Manipur State Level Kut Committee. ‘Man Made flood like stituation in Lamka town’

Greater cooperation is necessary to protect the natural drainage systems since there is no renovative plan for improvement of the drainage system in Lamka town.

The natural rivulets or watercourse in and around Lamka town overflowed mainly due to human encroachment. There are no proper drainage systems in the town and localities. Even those which already existed waterway are also encroached to the extend that when a little amount of water flows, it could not accomodate. The problem not only lies with the inefficiency of the civic body but also the unplanned and improper development of the town.

KNO LEH UPF POLITICAL DEMAND TOH KISAI VAIGUONTE

With the intention of documenting the recent development related to political demand of the Kuki community in Manipur, the Press Statement which was released by the President of Kuki National Organisation on August 10, 2016 is translated into Zou language as it shows a new chapter in the political movement of the Kuki people.
